BUS 210 - Statistics


This course provides a foundation of statistics in a business context, introducing students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. The course covers descriptive and inferential statistics, probability, discrete and continuous random variables, estimation using confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression analysis. Students cultivate their understanding of statistics in a business context, using software to interpret the relevance of statistical findings for business problem solving and decision making.
