CS 448 - Digital Image Processing The course introduces students to fundamentals in image processing. The topics covered include image representation, image formation, image enhancement in both spatial and frequency domains, and morphological image processing with the focus on two-dimensional grayscale images. Basic concepts in linear algebra are covered for understanding of image representation and manipulation. This course lays the basis for study in image understanding and computer vision.
