IS 430 - Managing Network Systems The features of centralized, decentralized and distributed systems are examined. The impact of distributed systems on the business enterprise is evaluated using case studies describing systems currently available. Technology implications of computer hardware, software and communications are discussed as they relate to the design, development, and implementation of various types of distributed data processing systems. A course project is required. Lecture Credits: 3 Prerequisite: BUS 150 Not Liberal Arts Offered in the Spring Semester
